LAMBERT REAPPOINTED PREMIER COACH

Brett Lambert has been reappointed as coach of the Social Premier side for season 2008 after a recent meeting of a social delegation rubber stamped has continuation in the job.

In his first season in charge in 2007, Lambert oversaw the Saints sixth placed finish on the final league table as well as a third round cup appearance.

It was a disappointing season for the side with player availability proving a constant source of frustration for Lambert and the players, with the coach only able to call on his best XI on three occasions throughout the season.

The side has placed it's faith in Lambert as the man to take them to the league title in 2008 and believes he is the right man for the job.

Lambert will relinquish his role as coach of the South Division One side with a decision on a manger to be made in the weeks ahead with Masters legend Eddie Greco rumoured to be in the mix.

Lambert's first task will be to take the boys through their pre-season paces and recruit new faces into the squad for both sides.
