
SAINTS OLD BOYS IN THAILAND FOR SENIORS WORLD CUP

Perth Saints old boys Frank Houston, Stevie Walker, Rob Zabica and Loll Endersby have jetted off to Thailand for the 2008 Seniors World Cup of football. Former Saints players Peter Murphy and Mike Smith will also take part.
The foursome, playing for the WA Ex-State and International side will play against the host nation, USA and South Korea in the group stages in the provincial city of Phitsanulok.
The other group sees tournament debutantes England tackle UAE, Iran and Taiwan. The grueling schedule sees all teams play three times in three days before the semi finals and final on the 25th and 26th April respectively.
Australia have yet to win the tournament but will be taking a strong squad this time and will be expecting to reach at least the semi finals, with the final to be broadcast on ESPN.
