It’s been a long off season for the Perth Saints, since that fateful final match in October 2011 when the football gods handed out a 6-1 thumping in the Cup Final to condemn the Saints to a trophyless season.

Since then there has been plenty of changes at the club. A new coach for the Metro Premier side as Dave Doody stepped down, and former professional player Ross Greer volunteered to take charge.

Perth Saints will again honour our departed companions David Deakin and Ryan Holdsworth with the Traditional match between the Masters and Metropolitan League sides set for Sunday 1st April 2012 at Tompkins Park.

The Deaks Cup currently held by The Masters will be awarded to the winning team and The Holdsworth Medal will be awarded to the best player on the day.

Kick off time12pm.

Training for Season 2012 has resumed on Wednesday nights at Tompkins Park from 7pm under the direction of Ross Greer.

Please be there before 7pm so that we can get started on time.
